Frequently asked questions about FAA’s financial calculators.

These tools provide useful starting estimates for common property, lending, superannuation and salary packaging questions.

Are the FAA financial calculators free to use?

Yes. FAA’s investment property, superannuation, mortgage, refinance and novated lease tools are free to use for general estimates. You do not need to book an appointment to use them.

What can the investment property calculator estimate?

It can provide indicative information about property affordability, estimated weekly cash flow and projected long-term growth based on the details you enter. It is not a formal borrowing-power assessment or loan approval.

Can I estimate how much I may save by refinancing my home loan?

Yes. The refinance calculator compares estimated repayments at your current interest rate with an example lower rate. Actual savings depend on fees, the remaining loan term, loan features, lender policy and your circumstances.

Does the superannuation calculator provide financial advice?

No. It provides a general retirement projection using the assumptions entered. It does not consider your complete objectives, financial situation or needs and should not be treated as personal financial advice.

Can Queensland Government employees get a novated lease quote?

Yes. Queensland Government employees can use the dedicated FAA Sal Pac quote portal. A separate online quote option is available for employees outside Queensland Government.

Which South East Queensland areas does FAA support?

FAA is based on the Sunshine Coast and supports clients across Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Moreton Bay, the Sunshine Coast and wider South East Queensland. Remote appointments are also available.
